Commissions

I am happy to accept commissions for a wide range of subjects. I do however concentrate on transport subjects, but private commissions tend to steer away from the normal 'Portrait' style. If you are interested in having a picture painted, call me now to discuss it. I'm told my prices are very reasonable!

Here are a few recent examples of commissions I have undertaken;

Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang and Flying Scotsman. Painted for Mr.Pierre Picton, the owner of the real thing -  Chitty GEN11. (Gouache 356mm x  279mm)

GWR 'Grange' Locomotive on the sea wall at Teignmouth. A boyhood memory of Mr. D Isaacs,  of Leyland, Lancs (Gouache 405mm x 305mm)

Two trams at the entrance to the Kingsway subway, in Holborn, London. Painted for Mr. R Sawyer of London. (Gouache 356mm x 279mm)

This is a picture of the 2005 winner of the Tour of Mull Motor Rally. I have produced similar pictures for the organisers of the rally for the last eight years. (Gouache 405mm x 305mm)

7.1/4" gauge locomotive 'Mythago' at Drumawhey Junction on the Belfast and County Down Railway, at Donaghadee, N. Ireland. I have been a member of the society for a number of years, and have painted quite a few locomotives belonging to members - both with and without backgrounds! (Gouache 356mm x 279mm)

Here is something a little more up-to-date. Eddie Irvine in a Formula One Ferrari, circa 2000. Painted for another lifelong Ferrari fan, Mr. R. Whitham of Blackpool. (Gouache 405mm x 305mm)

Hythe Station on the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, just before the war. Mr. Barry  Jones, Worthing, W.Sussex (Gouache 356mm x 279mm)

And finally, a simple portrait With a background. Mr. Simon Bowden - Welshpool & Llanfair Railway (Gouache 356mm x 279mm)
